Project Runway means New Friends

I won’t forget the time a close friend told me that watching reality television was really excruciating for him: “I have to prepare myself for new friends.  You get this cast of characters that you have to get to know and bring into your home.  Sometimes, I just don’t know if I can handle new friends”.

Tonight was the season premiere of Project Runway.  I dove right in and sat down for the first episode of the new season.  My television time has been non-existent since I graduated college, so we’ll see if I stick with it.  I thought a nice tidbit that I could share about me was that I auditioned for the third season of Project Runway.  I didn’t make it past waiting in line for an hour.  I was told that my energy was awesome but my garments weren’t anything technically special.  They told me to keep working on my craft and come back the next year.  I didn’t.
